Community Based Rehabilitation Projects (CBR)

CBR projects have been designed exclusively for the visually handicapped in rural areas in order to deliver rehabilitation services at their door step. NAB's field staff give training to rural visually handicapped in their houses so that they are trained in their own surroundings and the immediate family and other members of the rural committee are also involved in the program. They are taught mobility, rehabilitation and the family trade or the local area trade to make them self sufficient and a useful member of the community.
